Considering Katma Tui died at the hands of the "old" Star Sapphire, before the Emotional reboot? This would be the "yellow impurity" GLC days.

I would prefer an Elseworlds with John Stewart and Fatality doing the plot.

I love his books. And he did write a John Stewart issue co-starring Huckleberry Hound...

Mentioned it on the DC All Stars podcast back in February at the 25:15 mark:

• Would star John and Katma Tui
• Each issue would be them going to a new planet
• Would be part romantic comedy and part twilight zone
• At the time he said he'd pitched it and hadn't heard back

Anyways his Wonder Twins book is wrapping up early next year so maybe he'll get his shot.
