  • Your theories on Scar

We all know Scar is up to something, just nobody knows what. Some say she's evil, some think she is possessed by the Antimoniter, and others think the is trying to prevent Blackest night at all cost. So why don't we all try to compare what we all think might be going on.

I think she knows exactly what is happening and understands like Ganthet that Blackest night cannot be ignored. But also understands that the other Guardians will try to stop her actions. So she is secretly trying to actively prevent Blackest night by sending secret missions to get rid of the Antimoniter. Plus I believe she is the one who tipped off the other Sinestro corps members that the GL's were transporting Sinestro because she also knows that Sinestro will be important to Blackest night.

She's so hung up on the Anti monitor that it just makes sense that she is either him in control of her body, or under his influence. I'm thinking he asserted some kind of control over her when he burned her face. And she's basically been consumed with finding his corpse ever since then. It could all be a red herring and it's going another direction, but she's definately tied to him.

See and I thought she's... Scar is a she right... so hard to tell...

Anywho, so filled with rage because of the Anti that she allowed Parallax to infect her/it.

          or

will become the yellow Guardian. You do see the yellow logo in her/it's eye.

Don´t forget, that through her eyes, we have seen that she is experiencing the entire emotional spectrum. It´s just a matter of time until wee see the remaining missing symbols in her eyes.

When the Anti-Monitor scarred Scar, I think he merged with her somehow, like their souls (if the Guardians have one) got merged, and now he's in control of her or since whatever now controls him, it can also control her too, which could explain the black icon that keeps cropping up

Also, what he did to her could have somehow left her open to the influence of emotional spectrum and she's become a conduit that can be influenced by each light and the black, which could be why she's being driven to extinguish all other light, because she's been under their influence of the black. And it explains why she was feeding intel to the Sinners, the yellow light was influencing her

I like the idea of an evil Guardian, I hope it's long-term

Gerard Jones turned Appa Ali apsa into the Mad Guardian, which was a pretty good story.

Johns once said that, when Guardians feel an emotion they're able to power it up. Maybe that's what Scar's doing.

I kind of have a feeling that she died and is the first "Black Lantern." Or, maybe, a Guardian of the Black.

I like the idea of her being taken over by Anti-M. I wonder how the monitors will fare during Blackest Night?

Maybe Scar is acting independantly and wants to wipe out the Guardians? Or maybe she's been taken over by the "Parallax" of the Black Lanterns or something?

yeah, but Appa was the only Guardian at the time. I dig the idea of a rogue Guardian falling away from the group.

Well my first thought was that the Antimonitor actually killed her.
She is now undead, a guardian of the black lanterns.

I'm not sure, mabe she felt fear when the Anti-Monitor scarred her and as a result she's now able to tap into or be influenced by it (let's face it, any being is going to feel a little scared if itt hinks it's going to die, well everyone bar the Alpha Lanterns, if they can be coutned as living beings anymore)

Going with that, maybe she had a near death experience and that's enabling her to be influenced by the Black, and her connection with the green is enbaling her to fight the influences of the yellow light and the black

Plus, even with the Guardians being as they are now, I doubt they wouldn't be able to sense if one of them was actually dead

That one Guardian that killed himself next to Superboy Prime did not have any trouble with death.
