Exactly. But they don't even do the massive battles well. Now it's all about setting up events that you can toss a zillion characters into,

Somebody did something like that with the Hanna-Barbera characters -- came up with a Saturday morning cartoon where all of them would be involved in a cross-country race every week. But when you do that, there's practically nothing about the original shows that comes through.

I see what you're saying but I don't think that's exactly the best comparison as that show was not meant to be about the original shows. The Laff-A-Lympics and Wacky Races were pretty damn awesome.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

A war of Ideas is alot diffrent then a actual war. I know it is dangerous turf, but I would like the comic to have a little depth. They have teased it in the past with such ideas as lethal force,or if a GL should reconize boarders, but they just gloss over it. God forbid that a serious moral delimia take up more then 2 pannels or last deep into the run.

I like his current series a lot. Heck, the only people I'd want on art over Eaglesham are Ivan Reis and Ethan Van Sciver. Rags Morales is a suitable temporary replacement. I like the current direction of the book a lot. Go Sinestro!

I feel Sinestro at his core is an excellent villain and is at a loss being portrayed as an anti-hero. His end justifies the means attitude works because he doesn't see himself as the bad guy, he's doing what he feels is best. His run leading up to Brightest Day was phenomenal.

I feel the same with both Larfleeze and the entire Red Lantern Corps. We lost great additions to the GL rouges gallery only to have them replaced with losers like the Khund and Durlan. Don't even get me started on how now Evil Starr is being used.

I think anti hero is a dangerous line to walk as well. That is why I feel he needs to amp up the brutality. I am not really a fan of gore, but I think in this case. It is okay because he needs to spread fear. We need some images tastful yet horrifying enough that make it clear that Sinestro is far from the side of angels.

My ideal Sinestro is someone who wields a yellow ring, leads the Sinestro Corps, and equally matches Hal Jordan. I like the Sinestro in Geoff's stories prior to the New 52 (Sinestro Corps War more specifically). The serious type not the skinny type in the early years.

I'd prefer a more Sinister Sinestro, I like the skinny look actually but not in a comedic way, in a creepy way. Just look at Sinestro in Rebirth for example, that's close to my desired build for him, he looks more alien that way. I'd like him to look more alien in general really, plus I want him to be cold and manipulating, a real threat to the GLC.

Agree. He should definitely serve as one of the major threats to the GLC. I can get pass with the skinniness if his actions matches his villainy, without any touch of humor.

I get tired of the only threat to the GLC and superheroes alike are big cosmic disasters and demi-god instead of good old fashioned villains. Sinestro I think should be skinny, but it would make him look a bit creepier, more alien and more sinister which is what I think the character should be more like. Right now to me he almost just looks like a normal guy, a generic humanoid alien (like Star Trek have) as he is just pink with pointy ears and an every so slightly elongated forehead and cranium. I preferred it when his head was longer, it was easier to distinguish and is more iconic.
