It would be awesome if it turns out that these anti-emotion Pale Vicars are the REAL reason why the "reservoir" is being drained. Then if they can be defeated, everything can just go back to normal without the environmentalist overtones.

I liked this issue. A lot. I don't give many comics 5 stars anymore, but this one, I felt it deserved it.

me too. Great cover, but I wonder how long will they keep up this "new 52" sign?

Liked it. I especially like the designs on some of the new SC aliens.

Only two issues in and this is already the most solid, intriguing, and entertaining book in the GL universe. I'm interested to see what happens with the development between Soranik, Sinestro, and the two newer humanoid corps. members they kept going back to. It seems like those two will be going up in a power struggle with Arkillo later on down the road.

As for the new villains being teased, it's going to be interesting to see someone so vile even Sinestro is a hero compared to them.

I found it dissapoining. I did not like any of the ne new SC. One looked like a evil Ricky Schroder from Silver Spoons. I am pretty sure I saw a living Surfboard creature. Thes guys are not verry scarry. In fairness it is much better then GL right now,but that is hardly a compliment.

Interesting how in the Sinestro Corps you are "on your own". Any dissent is met with murder by either the more loyal or the more powerful. Like a gang of prison escapees.

In any case, it's the Sinestro Corps, not the Arkillo Corps. As Sinestro proved, yet again. Dissolving a power ring by command? What happened to Arkillo's independent ring/power battery made by the Weaponer?

                      4/5 stars.

I liked that one, but you're in luck, anyway, s/he's dead.

We have no reason to believe that's not the ring he has. Sinestro didn't take Arkillo's ring.

I am kinda hoping these new guys are around to be killed at some point. They are the perfect fodder. I am supper pissed about the Superman previw at the end. It felt like half a comic when I got to the last page. That could have been spaced used to show more Violence on the prision planet and to send the message that the SC don't play.

Sorry I gotta tease you about this. Many a issues I read thinking "you know what is missing from the GL mythos? a living surfbaord"!

Honestly though, I liked him better then the blond kid.

I like the interactions between Sinestro and Soranik, especially how Sinestro gave Soranik a taste of revenge by asking her to tend to the helpless Arkillo. She said it herself, Sinestro corrupts those around him and apparently has a plan for his daughter as well. Saving Korugarian, with any means possible, Soranik might find that appealing consider how eager she is to vindicate her faith in life-saving.
