Nevermind, I just ordered issues 16-19 (Including the "Grumpy Cat" variant of 16!). I'm really looking forward to starting a new Lantern adventure!

Hi, I'm just jumping into the series with this next issue, will I be alright or should I backtrack/scoop up a couple of earlier issues?

The issue is around a 4. Even if they keep messing the artwork up, Sinestro is truly a genius in planning. It's sad what happened to Saint Walker, and Soranik has a lot to answer to ( and someone in Princess Iolande ), when the Green Lanterns do show back up. Great to see Black Adam give Mongul a whupping.

I agree that the hero Arkillo bit needed a payoff.

Even in the rehashed rings on non-ringed DC characters, I'm surprised they didn't do more with Harley. She gets a couple panels and that's it. A quick quip about rocket launchers but not the kind of thing you'd expect by giving a fanboy/cosplay favorite a new power. BTW: how long until SC Harley shows up at a con?!

Not the best of issues, but I like how Thaal has contingency plans.

The artist jumble didn't help, but wasn't off enough to pull me out of the story. It was entertaining, an all action issue for sure. I'm not quite as excited about the series as some others, but I am glad I picked it back up.

Yeah I liked this one more than the last couple.
    Spoiler:
Seemed less gimmicky and more of a plot device since he did the mass recruitment of the rings.

    And poor Saint Walker.

    End.

I understand. But I do like the current GL run, the art isn't my favorite but it's definitely keeping my interest. To me, the current GL and GLC runs can't help but be in the shadow of stories like the Sinestro Corps War and a few others, so I try to take them as they are.
