Agreed and agreed. I like the story generally, but sometimes it feels like the characters are speaking all in non sequitur.

Yeah, the dialog in this one was totally weird. Seemed out of character. Though I perhaps got the feeling, from some of the things the ring was saying, that we were supposed to see the odd way of speaking as being caused by the influence of the weird bird dude?
