Just occurred to me that somebody here might be interested, so I thought I'd mention that CMON just completed a campaign on Gamefound for a boardgame called DC Super Heroes United. They have already had three campaigns for the Marvel version of this game, a (mainly) co-operative game where you play as superheroes going up against a villain's master plan. CMON is largely known for games containing a ton of miniatures, and this is no different. Even the cheapest base pledge ($65 plus shipping, in the US, anyway) has 61 minis (32 Heroes, 24 Villain and 5 "Dual Mode"), and there are 9 expansions on offer as well, including a GL character box with 5 GLs, and a War of Light box with one character from each of 9 spectrum Corps (plus a "sidekick" box that has Ch'p and Dex-Starr). If you go all in it costs $385 plus shipping, and you get all that stuff I mentioned plus a JSA box, Titans box, Metropolis box, Gotham box, Arkham Asylum Breakout box (where you play as Batman Villains), and Suicide Squad box, plus various extra decks of cards for different play modes.

Currently it is closed after the end of the campaign, but in a couple weeks it will open for late pledges, which as I understand it cost exactly the same as they did during the campaign.
