GL Series 4 Sinestro?

So, we still don't know what this is yet right? I'm assuming a Green Lantern Sinestro in his new duds, post War and relaunch. But I was wondering if there's been any conformation on what exactly it is yet. Pictures from NYCC or a scan from a toy magazine, anything?

I think it was Sylent that posted a pic of Series 4 Sinestro and dude was wearing Green boots.

Yeah, I did some searching again, and I still can't find any pictures. Not official, from a magazine, or from the DC Direct booth at any cons. I searched here, and a few websites that have pictures from the last few cons this year and nothing. Kind of strange since the figure is supposed to be out in December. Especially since, if it is Green Lantern Sinestro, we've all already seen it happen in the comics for months now. But yet the Black Lanterns and other stories and characters have been spoiled for us by seeing the figure first. Curious.

Darn. I don't like these last minute reveals. I like to know in advance so I know whether or not to have my LCS reserve one for me. :\

I'm wondering if something happens after the Sinestro deputizing Jordan story arc that would be worthy of a figure. New costume maybe? I'd much rather have a multiring Kyle Rayner.

GAHH!! Just saw on the DC Direct boards that the Red Lantern Guy Gardner due out Nov 2 has been pushed back to Nov 23rd! I was looking forward to that today.

Well, maybe I'll know more about this Series 5 Sinestro by then...

I'm also on the fence about the Green Lantern Guy in that series... nice head sculpt... not sure what else they changed. I wasn't a fan of those big green roach stomping boots in the previous release.

I would check this thread to keep up to date on current DC Direct release dates. Green Lantern Series 4 has not been listed as 11-2-11 for a long time now.

Are there pics of this Sinestro floating around? I've become a really big fan of the New 52 Relaunch arc and wouldn't mind him and Hal in this look on the shelf.

Well, his new GL uniform is slightly different than Hal's - more like his movie costume.



I'm also hoping for a new head sculpt, closer to the Reis/Mahnke look than the bulbous-headed one we've seen.

Isn't the Sinestro slated for series 5 in December? Last I checked, series 4 was Arkkus, Red Guy, Stel and translucent Hal.

I believe you're correct. Sinestro is part of Series 5.

Yeah, but I don't see why he would need to be unrevealed by DC Direct at this point.
