I had an awesome trip. I almost did not come back. I don't think I have ever been as happy and calm as I was that weekend.

So are you going to go again in 2011?

The convention shuttle didn't stop by our hotel, but it was a short walk, and the shuttles didn't care if that was your hotel or not, so we got the shuttle there/back a few times.

Did they check for a pass? Our shuttle driver couldn't have cared less and didn't check anyone's pass.

They didn't stop anyone, but I had my pass around my neck so it shouldn't have been a problem (for me) regardless.

I remember like 2 years ago, they stopped a bum from entering the shuttle at one of the stops.

It would depend on your budget.

Walking distance to the convention center will be around $250-$400 a night. Hotel with shuttle service to the event will be around $150-$230 a night.

Yeah if you want to go lower budget you can either stay in Old town and take the tram in our stay in hotel circle and take the shuttle. I prefer staying within walking distance makes for some gas lamp fun
