Due to a lingering case of food poisoning from bad oysters last Sunday, my party plans were cancelled. Plus, most of my invited guests started backing out and asking for rainchecks due to stuff going on in their lives. Twasnt meant to be it seems. I'm not really bummed though. My better half wasn't looking forward to all the people invading our home anyhow, so I don't hafta deal with the extra drama such a gathering would have caused.

My son will be at the 3d midnight showing at Merritt Island, FL. I have to be at work at 7AM, so I won't be there. I'll be going at a 2pm ish showing Friday afternoon. I am also going to pay the extra for the 3D and the new D-box seat. So I'll be violently shaking in my seat while I slowly go blind. I'll probably throw up, but it will all be worth it! I'll go again Sunday to see it in 2D. I'd go Saturday too but my son has a LAX tournament all that day.

I want to go to the midnight showing in Orlando, but I'm hesitant to see it in 3D cause they always give me headaches.

So is anyone going to a 2D midnight premiere in Orlando FL?

normally, i'd attempt to be where ever the masses are, but since i have NO depth perception AND 3D glasses ONLY give me headaches, i'll be limited to viewing the production in our local theatre (sebring, florida btw) ...

Anyone going to IMAX at Universal Citywalk Hollywood? I'm not sure whether I'll be there Friday or Saturday, but I'll be there. Either way, a great place to see this!

I choose the pointe orlando location because of the past experiences there and the free parking with paid ticket. truly a great theater. citywalk was good too, but the traffic getting in and out is a little hectic at times. also I was told there will be no Imax screening since GL was not formatted for it.
