1st comic convention here for 25 years. Was a pretty small affair (only 500 tickets available) but still a good time. Gave me time to meet with everyone I wanted to. Got David Lloyd to sign and sketch in crayon on my copy of V for Vendetta, met Colin MacNeil (of 2000 AD fame) and picked up some fine prints as well as buying a few things I wouldn't normally have been aware of. Also got Mark Miller to sign my copy of Superman: Red Son but I have to admit the guy is a total dick both to talk to and in Q & A. Was gutted because Frank Quietly was meant to be there but got held up by volcanic ash in Argentina.

I think they have already gone. They were shooting at Inverness airport last week and they were here 1st. Looks like my date with Anne will have to wait.
