My group was supposed to have a changing area and the group next to us was supposed to have a setup so they could bring in their photography equipment and take pics of kids with their favorite superheros. Needless to say neither of us got any of what we needed. The costume contest went really late because the wasn't a cut off time and folks were still signing up for it WHILE it was going on!!! (Can't bitch too much about that...I am happy I took Best Male Villain!). On the other hand the Boondock Saints gentlemen heard about my group and gave us an autographed photo to auction off at our booth (very cool of them to do that!) and I met one of my Idols ,Tom Sullivan, who signed the Necronomicon I made....and told me if I ever get rid of it He wants it!!!

There was a lot of good (I flirted up a storm with Tia and Felicia Day while in full 89 Joker makeup...and they flirted back!) and a lot of bad with this con (over crowding, WW issues) but I still had a ton of fun! Next year I am thinking hotel room instead of driving in for each day. Big, Big After Party is what I be thinking of!

BTW If anyone has Photos from the contest or of the 89 Joker on the con floor (That's right I was the guy with the flower that shot out smoke) Please post em up I would love to see them!

Also - they need to ban the stroller. Seriously. I saw kids up to 10 years old in these things and it was a major problem. If they are too small to walk, then they are too small to be there. It was a WALL of people in there. I also heard they didn't cap tickets like SDCC. They just kept letting people in. Wonderful. I'm sure the Fire Marshall will have a little chat with someone if that rumor is true.

Would I go back? Probably but only for 1 day - not the full 4 day pass like this year. Chicago was fun and enough to see/do to keep us busy. But I've been to other cons that were run much better.
yea i just went on saturday. my cousin and i and his buddy went and we got caught in a fucking traffic jam for 45 minutes and almost got into a fight with some ignorant arabs who honked at us.

i felt that c2e2 was better put together.

this was my 2nd con to go to but just having all the autograph booths dead center like that was bad on there part.
