ECCC was crowded!.. Well, at least on Saturday. I didn't get to attend any panels because I spent 3 hours of the con in line for Summer Glau. At least I got a nice pic with her. I also got to take pics with Bruce Timm and Greg Horn. When I get the chance, I'll post a few pics.

I head the DC panels were just as hard to get into as SDCC was. I guess that's good for ECCC and just means we have to be more selective in our panel scheduling.

I realize it's a bit late but my wife decided that she wanted to go at the last minute, so we dove over from Idaho this morning, man is it packed!

Have you been to the very first Starbucks? Is it a tourist spot?

That the some of the reasons my wife and I were planning to go to Seattle. The last time I was in Seattle was when I was a young lad. My family and I were in Seattle for a few days before we headed to BC for the 1986 World Expo. A buddy of mine recently visited Vancouver and said there were alot of beautiful Asian women there.

Whenever I get the opportunity to visit Seattle again, I plan to visit Bruce Lee's grave and maybe Jimmy Hendricks.

Now that I might be interested in. The last time my wife and I visited Canada, we didn't get nearly enough time to spend seeing all the sights.

    Thanks for the 411!

Baseball fans: tours of SAFECO Field, possibly some real baseball (haven't seen the schedule yet, but I think M's open at home this year week of the first). Football fans: tours of "The Link" (formerly Qwest Field). No basketball anymore. Possibly soccer in season, again haven't seen the schedule.

City tours. Ride the Duck to the top attractions of the city (this is an amphibious watercraft/city tour bus that goes everywhere). Experience Music Project with Sci-Fi Annex (must see for any serious fan, it's Paul Allen's $$). Boeing's Museum of Flight, world-class with retired Concorde and Air Force One. Seattle Art Museum. Historic buildings. Underground Tour. Pike Place Market (has a really expensive but unique comic shop that's been there for years and years). Several other good indoor artsy museums, and one funky outdoor one. Ferry rides across Puget Sound. Day trips to Victoria, British Columbia on the Clipper, bring your passport. Two honest-to-gosh floating bridges to drive across. Skiing about an hour away, and possibly still going late March depending on the snowpack.

Shopping. Numerous malls and specialty shops unique to the Northwest, REI, Eddie Bauer, Ye Old Curiosity Shop on the waterfront. Of course, the usual chain stores.

Forks is to heck and gone, the peninsula round-trip takes all day and is about 400 miles of hard driving to make the loop. But you can see the ocean from out there. Not really Twilight season.

If you need more (or specialized) ammo PM me and I'll let you know where to write for brochures and such.
