  • Columbus Ohio Area Green Lanterns?

Hi I'm Clayton, I live in Columbus Ohio, I was a closet comic fan but for the last couple years I let my nerd flag fly, well since then I don't have any real friends besides family. I'm looking for a close net group like the "Big Bang Theory" gang........

      BUMP!

The final weekend in September, Columbus will be hosting the Wizard World Ohio Comic Con, with Special Guests Stan "The Man" Lee, William Shatner, Dean Cain, and more! I'm thinking about taking my vacation that week to go, any GLCMB members planning to go, too?

It's a shame I live in the UK, I've always wanted fellow geeks as freinds, just like the big bang theory!

My wife and I are planning on going to Ohio Con, but the funny thing is our second child is due that week after. My wife thinks it would be cool if she had the baby there, me not so much.

I am thinking about going there, never been to a convention. Glad Ohio has one. They should rename it Ohio World Comic Con. That sounds better and makes it seem more important!

                    Buckeye Comic Con....

Is anyone going to the Buckeye Comic Con today from 10am-4pm? I'm thinking of going since the cover charge is only $4.

It's at the Fort Rapids Waterpark/Hotel at I-70 & Hamilton rd. in Columbus.

                      Buckeye Comic Con....

It was decent, busy when I was there....20 or so dealers selling everything from golden age to last week, action figures, monthlies & Graphic Novels. I spent $80 without thinking, and could've spent more if I wanted....was able to pick up a few items I've been searching for.

I was told they have 4 shows a year at the same location (every 3 months), and at $4 to get in....it's worth checking out.
