We're not entirely sure what we'll be seeing at San Diego Comic-Con this week during the Legendary panel on Saturday July 20, but if I were a bettin' man, I'd say we'll at least get a look at what our old pal Godzilla is going to look like in Gareth Edwards's 2014 flick.

I am one of those douche-canoes who refuses to go through the back scatter machines. And after what happened to a friend of mine I'll never go into a backroom for additional screening.

I find that I get nothing but politeness when I travel home from Cons, provided I'm wearing my "Boston Green Monster" T-shirt. People tend to just want to talk sports with me. And that's fine, we can talk Bruins or Sox while they're feeling me up, I don't mind.

All the additional security hoops are nothing more than theater, and I treat them as such.

Anybody know if any tv channels is going to be covering comic con? Like what G4 used to do. Spike tv did it last year but I dont see anything like that for this year when I checked this weeks programming guide on my tv and on their site.

Metallica will be at Comic-Con on Friday, July 19th at 6:30PM in Hall H.

If you haven't heard Metallica is promoting their upcoming 3D feature film, Metallica Through The Never which hits theaters on Friday, Sept. 27th.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (7/19) through Fandango!

They will be doing a concert from what i can tell.

I know my brother and my nice would love to see Metallica. I imagine they would perform on stage.

I do whatever they want as well. I got nothing to hide. Some lady was next to me in line a few years back coming home from SDCC.

I seem to get "randomly checked" at least every other time I fly, probably because I have a Muslim name. Coincidence? Probably not. At any rate, I comply with whatever check they want to perform since I have nothing to hide. Usually, people with something to hide are the ones that freak out.

One time on the way to Vegas, I got this a-hole with an attitude that searched my backpack and took everything out. The lazy fucker didn't want to put the stuff back. Old bastard. I made his punk ass put everything back.

Wasn't able to make SDCC this year but can someone get me the Marvel Legends Thunderbolts boxset. I would pay for it + tax + shipping + alittle extra for the trouble.

All of you getting WB goodie bags, remember: the capes are DETACHABLE. That means DETACH them as soon as you get the bag, and put them somewhere safe inside something else. Otherwise, you'll feel a "tug" and they will be gone.

Temperatures in the 70s, gentle sea breezes. It's gonna be cooler in San Diego this week than it will be in Seattle. Boy, do I envy you guys. Somebody say Hi to Roy Thomas for me, and tell him to "keep up the good work!" Really miss his pre-Crisis work. notably All-Star Squadron.
