ok so today i had a great day, among other things, i ran into my high school physics teacher in comic con with a spiderman t-shirt on, and after comci con as my friend and i were heading towards the train station, some guy says "you guys come from comic con? and we of course answer yes, he then says "want to see a cosplay burlesque show?" and of course we said yes. I didn;t expect much from it cause it only cost $3 when we showed our comic con badges. just so you all know burlesque just means sexy dancing and at most underwear, there were three main girls and two dudes, and only one girl was really attractive. But overall... This was hilarious, my friend and i grabbed a couple of drinks and hung out with a guy named tony who was having his bachelor party at comic can cause he was getting married in may. The first girl was dressed as delerium from sandman, then axel form kingdom hearts with "kingdom hearts girl", then death from sandman, then King louie, then daria from the spirit (which was actually really really hot), then poison ivy, harley quinn, tuxedo mask, rogue with gambit. It was actually a lot of fun, and i have gambits glove that he threw into the audience. besides the dancing, the hosts were guys dressed as deadpool & wolverine telling joke, and every once ina while audience members would yell out nerd related hilarity as well. Suffice it to say, I never thought I would ever see a cosplay burlesque show with other comic con people, it was awesome!!! and fi you don't believe me, these guys have a website:
