So, any GLC members planning on heading up to San Francisco for WonderCon this weekend? If time and academics permit it, I will be there at least for Friday; I want to hit the DC Nation panel, pick up a few trades I need, get Brian Azzarello's autograph, and see the WW DTV.

Anyone interested in hooking up at some point during the festivities?

At Wonder Con tonight, more information was announced about DC next animated feature, Green Lantern: First Flight.

This will be DC's fifth feature. It'll have a PG-13 rating and be released on July 28. 2009. There will be a single disc DVD version, a 2 disc special edition and a Blu-ray release.

Christopher Meloni ("Law & Order: Special Victims Unit") will take the role of Hal Jordan. Victor Garber ("Milk," "Titanic") will voice Sinestro, Tricia Helfer ("Battlestar Galactica") will voice Boodikka and MIchael Madsen will perform Kilowog.

Bruce Timm will be producing. Lauren Montgomery ("Wonder Woman," "Superman: Doomsday") will direct. Alan Burnett ("The Batman") is writing. The run time is estimated at 75 minutes

I was at the WonderCon on Saturday. I was dressed as Morpheus and my buddy was Kato from the Green Hornet. The attention we got was AWESOME!! Everyone needs to feel that way at least once in their lifetime. I'll post pics when I get the chance.

I got to sit in on the DC Panel for a bit. My other friend that didn't dress up asked the Panel questions regarding 'Blackest Night' and they side-stepped and dodged all of them. If you were there, he was the one that asked if Doomsday would be getting a Black ring.

Anyway, you all probably saw me around: grey scally cap, blue shoulder bag, black jacket. I even donated blood at the drive.
