I currently live in Brooklyn but am looking to move to Mass at the start of next year. My freelance work is going great and would go better if I lived within driving distance to the company I work for. Besides...Orin (my son) will be starting school in a few years and I would rather him attend there in Massachusetts. We're looking in the Woeburn area...but will move anywhere we can afford.

I live just north of Boston. Born and raised in Lynn, City Of Sin. I live in Methuen right now with my wife and two kids, number three is due in feb/march. We are looking for houses in the western part of the state right now because it's cheaper.

I took my honeymoon in Boston, and we loved it we stayed in Chumsford(sp?)
There is a restaurant there called Skip's that has the best porkchops I have ever eaten and an amazing hot fudge brownie sunday - with real whipped cream and actual melted Fudge
We went to Salem and to all the historic places and to Lowell since I was way into Keraouc at the time -
I would move to the Boston area in a heart beat if the cost of living wasnt like 4 times higher then Ohio

This is the number one LCS around & has been my comic book home for the last 15 years Dean, Mark, I'm blanking on the other guy are the best there is! Also Pat's place "Comicly Speaking" about 5 minutes away from Web Head in North Reading is my second favorite place to get comics. As Pat is a good guy & treats you right, plus I have to give him a slight nod over Web Head for really old back issues.

01) If you stay on North Ave from leaving Web Head go through the lights at the 128 on Ramp & under 128.
02) Keep going through the sets of lights until you hit the square (and a set of lights) there will be a gas station on your left & a dunkin dounuts right in front of you).
03)Take a right at the lights & get into the second lane & at the first set of lights take a left & Comicly Speaking is in the little plaza on your left.
It's a great place as Pat also has a great selection of action figures, statues, & TPB to boot.

Holy shit, I remember Federation Comics. That is where I used to buy comics when I first started reading. I was just a wee boy and my "cool" teenage brother would drive me and we'd buy every title that DC was publishing at the time. Damn, now that's nostalgia right there.
Thanks for the directions, I'll defiantly check it out soon.

I know, I know...I'm being evasive. Such is the life of the freelance artist.

I'm in southern NH, and only about an hour from Mass. The two stores I usually go to if I make a road trip are in Fitchburg and Worcester. Worcester's is problably the single best comic store in New England. It's just friggin' huge with and enormous inverntory. Fitchbrug is owned by the same guy, and is a much smaller version. Plus, Fitchburg's a dump where you could get stabbed for a dollar by a crackhead, so I don't have much other use for the town. There used to be a pair of good stores own by one guy in Springfield and Hadley, but they're both gone now. There's a decent store that relocated from Methuen Mass to just down the road in Salem NH. Not a lot of old stuff, but a great selection of current books and figures.
