    I'm tempted to go just to get Eduardo Risso to autograph my copy of Batman: Broken City, but I'm moving back from college this weekend, so it's likely a no-go.

      I went two years ago cause Jim Lee was there. I got my superman sketch.. so i'm happy.



      Last year, the only good thing that came outta it was this Tess Fowler art commission. ( fer FREE !! shes an amazing lady. )



      Other than that... Last year really SUCKED ass... nobody showed, and i know pretty much all those retailers. You think this year will be like last year? Lots of guys saying they aren't doing a booth this year... i dunno. You goin' assassin?

            Wow! Really? I was expecting this show to be pretty big, kind of like the WonderCon. My friend and I were planning on going but after hearing this... I'll probably go anyway just to see Marina and some costumed cuties.

              I went to that store about a Month ago when I went to Monterey. They have some pretty cool stuff, but most of their action figures are way overpriced.

                yeah, the figs were overpriced.

                I believe this is only the 3rd annual supercon... jim lee headlined the first one. Last years was pretty shitty.. and empty. Well see what deanna troy and chewbacca add to this years....

                  This year Sucked AGAIN.... but i was able to salvage some happiness.

                  For a whole dollar each, I picked up:

                  - Green Lantern Corps Quarterly: #1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
                  - Emerald Dawn II: #1,2,3,4,5,6
                  - Masters of the Universe D.C. mini: #1,2,3
                  - Masters of the Universe Star Comics: #1
                  - Thundercats Star Comics: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,15,16,18,19,20,21,22,2 3,24
                  - New Mutants #85 ( 1st Cable Cameo )

                  I also spoke with joe benitez for some time about why D.C. didnt work out for him, and shared in our love of the Yankees with Joe Jusko, who was representing the Yanks with his home jersey.

                  Counselor Deanna Troy scared the shit outta me.. dayum she looked cracked out...

                  That was it. I lasted 2.5 hours, before boredom almost killed me. Thank God for the dollar comics !!!

                  ( also, i looked fer your hat JME2, but i couldnt find it.. and yes, the convention was empty enough, that i could have spotted you for a mile away, lol. )

                          I have to disagree with Marina looking cracked out. Her legs have always been on the thin side, but still, I thought she looked pretty good. Her cleavage looked delicious and her boobs are just as juicy as ever. I would hit that. I think she got kind of wet when I told her that I loved her work on Gargoyles as Demona. :P

                          My friend and I sat through her panel and she told some pretty entertaining stories about ST: TNG. I never knew she was a Brit.

                          Forgive the large pics. Photobucket doesn't allow you to adjust the damn sizes anymore. It's rather irritating.



                          There were VERY FEW people in costume, but I didn't expect much from a show of this magnitude. Still, i got a shot with two of the hottest babes there. Wonder Woman is gorgeous! She was at the WonderCon as Zatana.



                          I got to see Whilce Portracio, the master of the Wetworks. Damn photobucket didn't flip the photo!



                          Look at what I picked up for $10. I was stoked! It's at least $20 on eBay not including shipping.



                          I also sat in on the Robotech panel and picked up this nice cell of Zentradi Warrior, Exedore just for asking an intelligent question.



                          I kind of wanted the Valkerie they were giving away, but this'll do. Free is good!

                          There was some dude there selling DC figures that had the new set with Mr. Terrific. He was charging $20 each! I laughed in his face when he told me the price. At that price, I can wait until Target and WalMart get them in. The nerve of some people.
                          Overall, the show was decent since I went in with sea-level expectations. Picked up a few books and that Mongul figure so the day wasn't a total waste. What kind of sucked was Marina's handler made us pay an extra $5 for taking two pics. She didn't say anything until AFTER we took the shots. That kind of annoyed us but whatever...

                            Actually, I live in Stockton. I travel a bit when it comes to these shows. I'll be in San Diego for the ComicCon. I'm one of the few that got passes for Saturday.

                              i got a thrsaday ticket, just in case... im still trying to get an exibiters pass, so its worth going down there. Im not sure i wanna jus do 1 day...
