Star Sapphire Hal Jordan????????

Okay, so I want to try and create a SS Hal Jordan. However, since there aren't any male SS as of yet seen in GL, I don't have any reference art. So, how about it you artist type guys here....can you come up with a plausible Hal Jordan SS look? Would love to see your ideas. Please no Drag Queen type looks. Legitimate male SS designs please.

Use the Predator design and go from there. That is the closest to a male Star Sapphire we've had.

Wow! a real challenge, a Hal Jordan Shappire vesion ... and that does not look gay!

Well, here I made a quick version .... Drawing level is not quite right, but it does not matter too much.



In any case, I've put some detail on the armor of the Predator.

Also a couple of color tests, first, that the details would have silver and pink logo, and the other with ... well, more pink, of course both versions could be combined.

As sick as this going to make me, I actually agree 100% with Ion. I believe you have made a perfect design for a Male Star Sapphire. If I ever have the parts laying around,and the ambition, I hope you wont mind if I use this design to make a generic Star SaphGuyer.

Yeah....that's WAY too gay looking. I'm not gay bashing here, but Hal Jordan isn't gay or a drag queen, so I like the above alternative WAY better.

My LCS has some Geo-Force figures on clearance he could make a good generic male Star Sapphire with a little work, hmmm.

I was also thinking of using him for a Black Lantern Steel.

There WAS a male Zamaron shown in the first Star Sapphire arc of Vol. 4. Maybe you could base something off that? (The Predator inspired designs work pretty well, too. I've always hated the Predator character, though.)
