Figured I'd post a couple of my drawings here, especially since there's a fan works-specific board. Neat.

Now, I don't know how many of you are on Deviant Art, but if you are, there might be some deja vu here. Since I've drawn a lot of stuff in the last few months that's GL-related, I'll only repost the worthwhile ones.

Low of the Sinestro Corps. This was particularly fun to do, especially since I come from a background of drawing teeth-rottingly sweet uguu-esque pictures. Freaked out a few of my friends, tho'.


Some art nouveau-ish pictures I did earlier in the summer. I'm not terribly pleased with Sinestro in retrospect (some personal crises came up while I was working on it at the time, so that threw me off some), but someone from io9 liked it enough to include it in one of their Friday Galleries back in July. Nifty.


Okay, hands down this is probably one of my personal favorites. I kept cracking up while working on it, which may or may not say something about my sense of humor.

p.s. I've never actually seen 'Drive Angry'.


A Sinestro I did before I went into work one morning. Simple, but I dig.


This one probably speaks for itself, methinks.


I should probably warn you guys that I really like these two. May recolor this one in the future, we'll see.

... Okay, here's a noodle-y one for the road.

I use Paint Tool Sai for the majority of my digital stuff. I only use Photoshop for touchups and extra stuff.

Occasionally I'll use markers, but the scanner is too short for me to scan in most of my stuff. ;(

Awh, I knew your name looked familiar, hehe. Yep, I'm 'eleganceliberty' over there, but eh, I use this name a little more these days.

Anyhow, just so this isn't a pointless filler post, here's some art from friends that I colored (hence the sudden shift in styles). Yes, there's a recurring theme with these. I can't imagine what it might be. ;]


This was drawn by Mariah Gem, who has a really fun style. This was actually a line-art commission, so support friends + art of favorite characters = everyone wins!


This was drawn by north-green, who did this for me as a 'get well' gift after I had some surgery done a couple weeks back. I had some time off post-op, so what better way to pass the time than to color!

(Seriously though, there was a "Draw me like one of your French Girls" meme going around on Tumblr a while back. I did a drawing of Larfleeze harassing Kyle to draw him as a "french girl". A month later, I took it to its logical conclusion.

That, and I have a twisted sense of humor. Probably should have mentioned that earlier)

Thanks I love to draw, but never have anything to color with and am really bad with colored pencils. I think. So I'll have to give that a try. Do you use tablet or are you one with the mouse?

I pretty much swear by my tablet, though that's only after years of practice with it. Still occasionally use pencil/pen, though. =] I actually do use a mouse once in a while... well, my laptop's trackpad, anyways.

And hey, some things look good in black and white too. I admire anyone who can do good pencil and/or ink work. =>

Anyhow, dunno how many of you are familiar with the show 'Adventure Time' (on Cartoon Network. Hilarious stuff, imho), but I did Salaak and Fatality in the AT style:
