New stuff, since Bedard mentioned Kyle possibly becoming a White Lantern....

Here's a simple costume loosely based on Sinestro's original WL suit, and another with a certain element from Kyle's original Ion design...

I don't like the crabmask enough to use it in every other Kyle redesign, but here's one of my more original designs altered to the White Lantern color scheme....



I'm probably gonna use this one and change up my next fanfic. I think I wanna try and write Kyle as a WL instead of another era as the Torch Bearer....

It's not that I don't like it, I'd just rather not see it in every single Kyle redesign. It was great in the 90's, but for the most part artists always seem to draw it's shape wrong or make it look too awkward. There's no reason Kyle couldn't just have a domino mask....

A mask doesn't define somebody any more than the color of his ring. I'll admit it's the one part of Kyle's costume that's got the iconic element to it, but no more than the off center badge or the two colored Lantern symbol. Plus, even though we've seen it in blue, and I made d3v1lboy the red Kyle, I just couldn't see it looking good in all the other colors.

As far as what I've got planned for the fanfic, the more evil side of the spectrum will play a role with familiar faces from the Red, Orange, and Yellow showing up. However, for the most part, Kyle will be back on Earth. New52 universe, new set of rules to play with....
