This guy took awhile but he had to be done. Animal Man pre-Buddy Baker in the New52....



Gonna do a few more of these pre-Buddy Animal Men characters. It was hard, and while I'd prefer Buddy in his spiffy blue and white suit, I dig the red tattoo/markings on other characters....

Cool! Maybe you could shade the pocets in a bit better, that part looks a bit 2D. Other than that, love it!

In the Animal Man #0 issue where this guy appears the pockets even looked stiff. Since he's a different kind of hero I assumed the pockets were just packed with stuff like Batman's utility belts...

I'm kinda looking forward to making a few more past Animal Men. I've got rough ideas for a Native American AM, a 20's era noir AM, a golden age 40's and 50's style female, a Silver age take, leaving the newest guy above, then Buddy. Probably gonna do tattooed Buddy as well.

Don't think I've posted this yet, but if the Guardian ever shows up in the New52 he needs to lose the undies on the outside as well. Here's my take...



It was saved awhile ago as a jpeg or I'd post the clearer version. Photobucket just made 43 pages worth of micros and image files in alphabetical order so now I have to dig to find my stuff...

Do it dude, your micros are top! I've not seen a "pin head" style micro on a site yet (apart from the new MIB archive, but that's full of everyones).
I attempted a site myself, but it's hard to do anything with, should've used webs or something, the program I've used is too hard. I only uploaded a couple micros on there. Probably won't send a link though, it's too embarrising.
