Alien vs predator needs a r remake

Yall know i hate remakes but with the success of prey id like the director of prey remake alien vs predator . I mean he gaves a great predator film can he do the same with alien? It dosent need to be the darkhorse story. Do something new with it

In actually like AvP, but this makes sense to me. You could do the Dark Horse story. Or anything, so long as it's R. The two AvP movies have been said to be their own continuity, so it doesn't even matter whether it's a remake or just a different AvP battle.

It was infuriatingly baffling when AVP came out. All the Alien movies? Hard R. All the Predator movies? Hard R. Cross them over and you get... PG-13? What the fuck? How? Why?

Personally I'd like to see Predators in the Aliens future, not necessarily with Aliens. But like a hunt on a planet with Colonial Marines. Also, the biggest thing I'd like them to adapt is the end of the original AVP comics, when Machiko Noguchi is taken aboard a Predator ship and allowed to hunt with a bunch of Predators. I was thinking they might go this route with the end of Prey but they didn't. Maybe in Prey 2?

Personally I'd like to see Predators in the Aliens future, not necessarily with Aliens. But like a hunt on a planet with Colonial Marines. Also, the biggest thing I'd like them to adapt is the end of the original AVP comics, when Machiko Noguchi is taken aboard a Predator ship and allowed to hunt with a bunch of Predators. I was thinking they might go this route with the end of Prey but they didn't. Maybe in Prey 2?

Or 1960s earth and the Cuban missle crisis where The Cuban missle crisis is a cover story for avp and human war.

The whole "predator in a historical setting" will get real old if they base more movies on it because it will just be a rehash of prey in a period film. They need to have one where the predator wins and kills the main character.

You know, it's odd that they haven't gone that route. It's common in horror, but maybe because Predator has always skirted that sci-fi/horror/action categorization they haven't braved it yet. I wouldn't mind. I'd probably prefer going forward than back, but maybe down the road. Still have to see Prey, though. A friend is probably coming over in a week to share his Hulu and watch it with me.

I agree 100 percent the main character should die. I feel the same way with some slasher films with scream . I feel like they have to kill Sidney. As for avp they could do the original idea of alien 3 and have the alien on earth and maybe the predators can hunt them there? And they can eraae alien 3 And have Ripley be the one to take alien And predator on on earth.

Yeah, it's kind of annoying to see so many "well now can we get a Predator movie where they fight samurais in Feudal Japan?!?!" People aren't getting that just changing the setting isn't going anywhere new with the Predator, it's just a gimmick.

What about scream 1 , 4, 5? Setting is always woodsboro. 6 will be in nyc wich im glad we are getting a new setting. Theres even mention this will be the first scream set in snow

They all did something to change it up a little bit. They changed the islands and played up the stupidity of humans thinking it was all the same place for part 3. For JW they went back to the beginning so they could have some callbacks to part 1.

But the same applies to those movies as what you want to see in predator. How many times are the dinosaurs going to escape vs. How good of a killer is the predator if he gets outsmarted by a native american, a samurai who is very superstitious in nature and probably would be scared shitless of something with the tech of a predator, or a civil war soldier who just shot his brother and is now dealing with lasers and self guided weapons.
