Saw "The Substance." Suffice to say... wow! Incredible movie. Highly recommended. "Body horror" indeed. It's a bit like "The Fly" meets "Black Swan," or something such. The only thing I don't understand is, if when she switches to the younger version, if they're not actually sharing active memories... I'm not getting the draw? The Demi Moore version isn't actually getting to enjoy being the younger version, she's just waking up after the younger new version has a good time every week or so and trying to figure out what she did, right? It'd make a whole lot more sense to me if they were sharing memories as they both go.

Now I'm caught up on posting all of the movies I saw in the last seven weeks.
But (1) I'm home a lot; (2) my family and I usually watch a movie at dinner and then I watch another on my own instead of shows.
Midway is a good one. I like that bit where they talk about the Japanese internments.Last edited by Space Cop; 11-24-2024, 12:10 PM.
