Death Walks on High Heels (1971)
“Oh, I used to be very curious, Nicole. I wanted to know absolutely everything about everything. Then, one day, it dawned on me that every one of my questions meant listening to an answer, and every one of the answers meant a disappointment.”

The Man They Could Not Hang (1939)
“I answer it’s the gift of eternal life! But whether man's wise enough or old enouh to receive such a gift, I don’t know.”

[Rifftrax:] Samurai Cop (1991/2016)
“Remember folks, it’s not racist if it’s incoherent.”
Faces of Death II (1981)
“This white blanket of death is called an avalanche.”
—Not great. Relied on more post-disaster footage. Many would also be uncomfortable with the footage of animal testing and slaughter.
Death Walks at Midnight (1972)
[aka Cry Out in Terror]
“You know drugs cause more damage than tossing a rock through a window and they’re no joke either.”
—I liked this giallo though the skeptical police inspector and the giggling hitman were really annoying.

“You take too much to heart that canna be helped.”
—30th anniversary and since I split it up, coincided with Tartan Day too.

Bad Boys (1995)

—30th anniversary.
Ready to Rumble (2000)
“Just cause it’s your dream doesn’t make it right or noble or whatever! Charles Manson was following his dream! Joseph Stalin, Michael Bolton, you get my point?”

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014)
“Death is just like life in Sin City. It always wins.”

“Never look back. The past is a wilderness of horrors.”

“Kung-fu fighters should be fierce like a lion and swift like a peacock so I study their styles.”
—One of the Bruce Lee exploitations that (like #1) used actual Lee footage along with a double (usually obscured) then switches to his brother. Not bad. It’s an extra on the Criterion Bruce Lee box set.
Just One of the Guys (1985)
“Now? Can’t you be alone when your parents are home?”
—40th anniversary. Free on Youtube. Been a while. Follows a high school girl who thinks her journalism is discriminated against so she poses as a boy. Probably not PC, but more poignant than you might expect perhaps because it was directed by a woman.
Village of the Damned (1995)
“You are a prisoner of your values.”
—30th anniversary of Carpenter’s remake.
He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword (1985)

Yep. And probably most people. The reason is (1) I’m not a big TV show fan; (2) most nights I watch a movie at dinner with my family and then go off to watch another by myself; (3) I have a fair amount of free time being on disability and not leaving the house much. Anyway, June’s movies were:Originally posted by robojac View Post
