MST3K: The Giant Spider Invasion
The Violent Years (1956)
"All juvenile delinquency is rooted in adult delinquency."
Continuing my Woodathon, but this was one he wrote (not directed).Last edited by Space Cop; 01-21-2013, 01:24 AM.

Entertaining, but I had several problems like Schwarzenegger and Willis's short screentime. As much as I like Sylvester Stallone he appears to be very narcissistic when it comes to this film (basically him and Statham do everything, but Stallone also took out the Villain by himself) plus the direction was poor. Still it was passable.Last edited by Mister.Weirdo; 01-21-2013, 03:23 AM.

Glen or Glenda (1953)
"Give this man satin undies, a dress, a sweater and a skirt, or even the lounging outfit he has on, and he's the happiest individual in the world. He can work better, think better, he can play better, and he can be more of a credit to his community and his government because he is happy."

WOW. I can't believe people are praising Anne Hathaway so much for this role. She was barely in it, and when she was she wasn't that impressive. Though she by far had the best voice. Story was decent, Count of Monte Crisco like, but was filled with random decisions by EVERY character in the end. Just bizarre decisions.
Very forgettable movie. Nothing new, nothing interesting.

Been watching Ed Wood-penned, Steven Apostolas-directed 70s exploitation flicks, which are barely watchable except that the acting and set-ups are funny and they're a real capsule of 70s thinking:
Drop Out Wife (1972)
Snow Bunnies (1972)
Fugitive Girls (1974)
The last of these is the most "legitimate" (that is to say, not just set ups for simulated love scenes) along the line of other Grindhouse flicks like The Big Dollhouse.Last edited by Space Cop; 01-24-2013, 02:49 PM.
