...Yes, it's worse than the last one (2010).

      • Between my two box sets and Youtube, watched every Ed Wood short film I could (though some of these were more like TV projects):

Crossroads of Laredo [unfinished until 1995]

        Crossroad Avenger (1953)

        The Sun Was Setting (1951)

Trick Shooting with Kenne Duncan (1960)

        Final Curtain (1957)

This was bittersweet to watch since Duke Moore's part was supposed to be played by Bela Lugosi, who died with the script in his hand!

        • Looper- This was pretty good, although a bit hard to follow at times... or maybe I was sleepy. Either way, I woke up in a big way when they showed Piper Perabo NAKED. Also, I really like Emily Blunt.

          • Charlie Bartlett - Been putting off watching this for a while now, but I found it on Netflix was couldn't help myself. It was about as good as I expected it to be, which was very. Also, I had no fucking idea that Kat Dennings was the female lead in this. I blame it on bad advertising. RDJ, though, was probably the best performance in this film; I was wondering how informed his performance was concerning his own sobriety. Very, very good film.

            • Winter's Bone (2010)

"Megan: What are we ever gonna do with you, baby girl?
              Ree: Kill me I guess.
Megan: That idea's been said already. Got any others?
Ree: Help me. Nobody's said that idea yet, have they?"

              Steel Dawn (1987)

              • The Hebrew Hammer (2003)

"Attention, K-Mart shoppers: there are Jews in aisle 12."

Andy Dick is Damien, the evil son of Santa Claus, who takes over Christmas after brutally (off-screen) murdering his father so that he can wipe out Jews/Hannukah forever. Only the most badass Jewish superhero-detective can stop him...if the Jewish Justice League can convince him.

Adam Samberg was fairly good, and Andy Dick did a wonderful job making me despise his dickhole character (same with his beginning-of-the-film-only grandfather, Nick the Nasty, whose name sounds like a sex move and whose portrait has him flipping the bird).

Other than that, the film is chock-full of stereotypes and cliche-jokes. Not terrible, but schlocky. MC Hammer makes a guest appearance, to boot.

This movie had a decent concept/setting (a serial killer hunts in a cops-only rehab in the middle of nowhere) but only came out average.

                              • Making my way through about-to-expire Instant Netflix movies again, so it's been ecclectic.

A fun, if standard, actioner. But if you can't have fun watching Mickey Rourke vs. a coked up and painted Danny Trejo, well, we're very different people.
