    Justice League: Throne of Atlantis

Definitely more of an Aqua-tale than a Justice League movie.

I thought Mera was the strongest hero in the film with her natural ability to manipulate water.

The story felt kind of rush in the sense that certain things felt forced, like the romance between Arthur and Mera and between Superman and Wonder Woman. I thought the chemistry between Hal and Bats was realistic. Moreover, the world building of Atlantis and the motivation of Orm and Black Manta was certainly lacking.

The end credit scene was on par of the previous films.

I think the word "shit" was used twice.

I thought the animation was better than previous film as the character's necks weren't oversized and the fight choreography is pretty cool.

Overall, it was okay, meaning just above a quality of a TV series.

    2.5/5

Hitchcock scarred most people for life with that movie, cast included.

Jump scare > psychological trauma? Uh-uh, sir.

I always thought he did more damage with Psycho, no? That film was freakin disturbing.

Hitchcock was never a pleasant man behind the scenes. I think most of his flicks have at least one horror story about him.

If you're seriously trying to pin on me the notion that a jump scare is better than psychological trauma, you sorely need to reevaluate what I said.

I assumed you were referring to the instance in which Ridley Scott neglected to tell the cast of Alien about the chest-burster scene and scared all of them. The way in which you phrased it came off, at least to me, as if you were elevating this tale above Hitchcock's mental abuse of Tippi Hedren.

But, I'm guessing by your offense, you didn't mean it like that.

                        • The reference was correct, but the interpretation was off, as you have now surmised.

                            Fair enough, my apologies then.

                              • A Blueprint for Murder (1953)

Whitney Cameron has a real fondness for his pretty sister-in-law, Lynne, but when one of her stepchildren mysteriously dies, an autopsy indicates that the child was poisoned. Despite his own feelings for Lynne, Whitney believes that she may be responsible for the child's death because with the elimination of her other stepchildren, she would become sole heir to her late husband's estate.

-I always love a good movie late at night. This was a treat to watch. I never realized how much I appreciate a good mystery film.
