Hmm, that thought never crossed my mind, but yeah, that was an idea. The beginning was cool, too, in the holding cell.
i would rate it a 5 out of 10 and it would have been more interesting if they went with that hologram idea plus have the murders take place on solaris wich is like a city in space
the other nitpick i have is how the head guy is a professor and yet knew ziltch on the crystal lake murders. youd think someone with that sort of profession would know of such thing
wile i dug the new upgrade the film could have been way better with the whole space thing...
When I first saw Jason X I hated it. I thought it was way too goofy and off-tone for Jason, but I've come to just not take it that seriously and have much more fun with it.
youd think with that scene they couldve used a hologram of jasons mom to distract him
Yeah, but that wouldn't have been as funny. In CLM they talk about how that was a last minute addition when the studio wanted more kills and the director wanted an added joke.
Plus the kid who does it may not have had that much data about the Vorhees (the campers can be generic, but Pamela Vorhees would have to look like her to work).
I thought this film was okay, probably because I didn't recall alot of key points from the previous film, so I was a bit confused and a little lost. I thought the story was somewhat predictable, but it kept me entertained overall.
2.5/5
