"If you're so hungry, eat sh**!"

I didn't really like this. It was different, but I think the horror didn't work as well (for me, anyway) because the mother and son haunted are both annoying and I really don't care about them. Plus, the setting is ridiculous. The woman lives in a black and white house and seems to only get on her TV spooky old cartoons and surreal old horror flicks.

    • Yeah, I was going to check that out on Netflix, but I think I'll skip it now. Hider in the House is probably a better flick.

        WOW.....
That bad, huh? I would think, for a film that got so many accolades, it would be The Exorcist level scares. I did start watching it at one point a few months ago, but lost connection or whatever. Never bothered finishing it, but it is out on DVD now. Saw it in WallyWorld last week.

Oh, ok. I didn't realize that was one of his signature moves.

You mean people died on a show about vampires and demons trying to conquer earth.

-I'm gonna kill a bunch of people."

When some murdering robbers attack a recently returned USAF Major and his family, he recruits his friend and fellow former Vietnam POW for some Texan revenge. Pretty cool stuff.

It didn't do it for me, but I can't claim you'll hate it. I don't see it adding anything to the haunting movie that wasn't already done better in say The Ring or The Conjuring. The title boogeyman is spooky looking, but not necessarily any more so than similar movies. The main complaint to me is that the main characters are so unrelatable that I don't care what happens to them, which obviously breaks the tension. You can do that in a slasher film where you can throw 5 or 20 stupid, interchangeable teens at Jason, but it's different for a haunting story.
