Love me some Showgirls. I can't remember who, but some celebrity said that "it seemed as if everyone involved with Showgirls knew it was a joke EXCEPT Elizabeth Berkley" whic i always found funny because it even looks like she is the only one trying to act in that movie while the rest are either phoning it in or being deliberately over the top.

I also agree with Robinson. Watching that movie on VH1 is hilarious!!

LOL. I think one of the "problems" is that Nomi is such a b***h that she's hard to identify with. I mean she is a mean, short-tempered, egotistical upstart who basically ends as a seasoned, short-tempered egotist.

Yeah and it's pure Troma, but I thought it was fun (maybe because I like Japanese stuff) and it's definitely a unique concept.
