Ex Machina - This was really good! It started out kind of slow and strange, but gradually grew into an insightful, entertaining flick. I really enjoyed this.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
prometheus 2012. i know this film gets a shit load of hate but i enjoyed the hell out of it. im curious to see how prometheus 2 will work
Nothing but love coming from my point of view on this movie. That's why it's in my top ten.
I wouldn't dare use the "P" word, though. It's more of a first generation cousin to Alien.
It raised more questions than answers, which is something I hope Scott explores in the next film, which I believe will dovetail nicely into a direct link to Alien (by all the accounts that I have read thus far).

it be really cool to see if theres more than just the engineers who are depicted as gods. thats why i thought maybe a heaven and hell type war story involving false gods could be a nice addition to prometheus 2. i mean the xenomorphs were made to be weapons and i feel they didnt answer that well enough in the 2012 film because the question still remains why create something than destroy it?

Finally!! I've not come across anyone else that has liked, or even seen this movie. It may be due in part to the fact that it was only out here for about a couple of weeks. I did seriously love this movie, though.

I don't think I've seen that one since I saw it in the theater. I recall being disappointed.
I knew it was going to be bad but I never saw it until today (despite loving the goofiness of #1). I thought it was alright if you set the bar low. As with many comedy sequels, it relied on a lot of repeating the success of #1 but without the charm of the original.
Star Trek: Insurrection (1998)
"Mr. Worf, do you know Gilbert and Sullivan?
-No sir, I have not had a chance to meet all the new crew members since I have been back."
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)
"Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?
-One damn minute, Admiral."
