Black Mass - Of course, I saw this as soon as humanely possible, and this movie will probably do gangbusters locally, but I have to say that I wasn't all that impressed. It's a very somber affair, some of the makeup on Depp isn't all that well done in spots, even though his performance as Whitey is exceptional, and it feels like you keep waiting for something to happen and then the next thing you know, it's over. I'd honestly say wait until this is available elsewhere to see it. Now I'm gonna go watch The Departed again...Last edited by Fearless; 09-18-2015, 04:54 PM.

The Sixth Sense
I haven't seen this movie in years and so my wife and I decided to watch it again. They movie is incredibly good. Wonderful performances, story telling and of course plot twist.

The Raven (1963)
"Don't you know it's rude to keep your guests waiting?"
A sorcerer is visited by a talking raven which turns out to be a cursed fellow magician, and must help him get even with the leader of the sorcerers, but more is at stake than meets the eye.
The whole gang is here (Peter Lorre, Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, and Jack Nicholson), and in top shape. Lorre is hilarious as a drunkard, acting loud and pushy to everyone, while Price is a gentleman, Nicholson is a dutiful son, and Karloff is a gracious host with a mean streak.
While heavily deviant from Poe's story, it is rooted there, if only loosely. The visuals are very good as well as the story and acting.
Highly recommend.Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner
