I JUST got back from seeing Civil War and am still stunned. I had no idea what kind of superhero action to expect, and this had TONS of it. I'm still trying to absorb all of it. So many characters I love in one movie, yet it didn't have that confused feel Batman vs Superman had, and sorry B vs S fan this actually had a great story, not just terrific action. Just my opinion.
The plot and subplots were done really well, though I do wonder if the movie needed to be quite that long. I can't rank it with the other Marvel movies yet, this movie begs me to see it again.
Tears of the Sun (2003)
"Those Africans are my people too. For all the years that we have been told to stand down and stand by, you doin' the right thing."
Last Days in Vietnam (2014)
"I had all these causes, all these big things I was doing. ... And I forgot that what were at stake were human lives."
Very good documentary about the events from the Paris Peace Accord to the fall of Saigon. Some sad stuff, some hair-pulling mistakes, and some inspiring, heroism.
I haven't seen it since it came out on DVD, but I remember really enjoying that. The story line was as impressive as Hulk's smashing.
Plus, Hulk ended up being a real hero, even as anti-hero as he's generally portrayed. Now I'm more interested in Hulk solo comics, whereas before I liked him mostly teamed up.
