Hellraiser II I Hell on Earth 1992

Fun little romp through techno hell laced with booze, cheap sex, and one hell of a Motor head song. I believe I saw this at the theater when it was released and thought it was fairly decent, although nowhere as top notch as the first 2. The new Cenobites just didn't have that godlike presence that the formers did, so it was kind of cheapened, but the Church scene was the best.

Not that I recall. If there was, it would be just like all the other comic references. It's about two competing little comic stores that vie for a deceased man's collection from his surviving elderly mother; a black comedy. Good stuff.

This one has an early appearance of Viggo Mortensen. Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey appear in the fourth, which is called TCM The Next Generation. That one got a lot of flak from Leatherface fans partly because of the weird ending, but also because of LF's cross dressing, which is odd because he did it in #1.

I did think a bit that what happened to McCon at the end was a little satisfying, but that hardly saves the film, and I know I'll never bother with it again.

I remember the first time I watched The Next Generation. It was the first TCM that I ever saw, and even going in utterly cold, I didn't much like it. I did think a bit that what happened to McCon at the end was a little satisfying, but that hardly saves the film, and I know I'll never bother with it again.

Well, there you go. I would say Agent's feeling (if not his experience in starting with this one) is typical among slasher fans. For my part, I find aspects of TCM:NG enjoyable, but I would put it low on my list and I've only seen it something like 2.5 times.

Hateful Eight - I know a bunch of people hated this flick, but I enjoyed it.
