  • Superman Unbound- This was really good. I liked Brainiac's portrayal in this flick, and that his power level was on par with Superman. I did think it was a tad on the short side, though at a little over an hour.

Great film, surprising seeing it's British.

I had seen large chunks of this before but never all of it. It was alright/what you'd expect. Voight is kind-of laughable as the baddie.

as interesting as I found this, I think Weirdo will enjoy it more for some strange reason:

            • Watched this for the first time beginning to end. I had seen bits and pieces throughout the years, but had never watched it fully. Some good stuff, and saw just how much of the movie made its way into the new series. Liked how Pine was chewing on a pear during his cheating of the Koboyashi Maru, and how Shatner was eating a pear while explaining to Kirstie Alley how he beat the test.

And I have to say that Spock's funeral is probably the best acting I've ever seen from William Shatner.

There's this one moment in #3 (which is not very good overall), that I think may be his best.

BTW: WoK is widely considered the best by both Trekkies and non-Trekkie (at least before 2009). The next contender is #6, which was directed by the same guy.

                • Thought the film was pretty good, and felt Michael Douglas and Matt Damon were effective in their roles. Even though I'm not very familiar with the life of Liberace, or the book the film is based on...

My only gripe would be the two Spanish guys (Don Omar and the other guy) were missing, so they had to ramp up Tyrese's comedic relief to compensate. Still, great action, good story, incredible action sequences and a nice twist at the end (possibly) leading up to Fast 7.

For those that have already seen it, did you notice that the movie was a bit dark? For the night action sequences, I could barely make out what was going on.

                      This.

Fast and Furious 6 was worth the price of admission and a movie worthy of its title. There was great chemistry between the actors and every action sequence and emotional scene was well set up. I like how Tyrese character just flat out said their opponents were basically the evil versions of themselves, so of the Justice League vs. the Crime Syndicate. This is my favorite movie of the franchise.

I also love the loaction shots, as it makes me want to travel to London and Tokyo.

On another note, Gina Carano definitely kicked ass in this movie, but I don't know if she has the acting chops to be Wonder Woman which alot of folks on the internet think she should be.

                      5/5

Fast 7 has been confirmed and they're have already started filming in the Philippines.

I didn't find the night scenes too dark, but too fast where I wasn't sure who was who.

                      • Very good. Very non-mainstream, though. Why anyone is surprised that this didn't make its money back is beyond me.

And I missed a "Gaze into the fist of Dredd" scene.

This is kind of ironic since Peter Weller is in both of these. It was great to see him on the big screen again and I was surprised by the plot twists with his character, Admiral Marcus.

I've seen this many times, but it was fun to watch it on the same day as STiD and less than a week after watching "Space Seed."

I thought about that later. I was psyched to see him in STiD. He's underused and he makes a good baddy. If I had many millions of dollars to spend I'd finance a Buckaroo sequel. If not, I'd at least make sure Weller got more good parts.

Wow. I knew some of these, but it's still hard to imagine most of these scenes any other way.
