Skyfall (2012)
"Mommy's calling. I'll give her a goodbye kiss from you."
Visually amazing, and the stunts/action were certainly entertaining as hell. The Macau scene was almost hypnotic, and the surreal-as-an-acid-trip intro is a must-see even for non-Bond fans.
Of course, this entry (the "end of the beginning of Bond") scraps any sense of continuity, just like its predecessors Royale and Solace.
Javier Bardem as Raul Sylva was a very charismatic actor. His clockwork-precise acts and expert digital terrorism show him as more than a mere character among others.
Bond was actually kind of a prick at times, more so than usual.
I liked Ralph Fiennes in this. He really sold his character, as well as Bardem did.
Also, British Bulldog.
Highly recommend.
