So I'm doing the guild challenges in AC: 'hood and decide to start doing the "poison 15 guards" one, along with doing the last couple of "air assassinations from a wooden beam" one. They have to die from the poison, not anything else, which is pretty easy for the most part.
Or so I thought!
I climb a building with a crossbow guard, poison him from behind, which makes him act like a drunken idiot. He falls off the ledge and denies me my one stat rise.
I then find a guard patrol passing by a couple stationary dudes. I wait for the patrol to pass, climb the building's side and onto the beam, target the armored guard and air assassinate him while he's yelling at me for being a parkour douche. I then switch to my fists, disarm his buddy and smash his face in with his own mace. Loot their bodies quickly, and then run around the corner just in time to catch up with the patrol.
I follow them around their circuit until they find the first two guys' bodies just lying in the street. The patrol splits up to explore the street, and I switch to my poison hidden blade to poison the armored guy, and then literally proceed to poison-stab two more before the last guy spots me; I poison him but it doesn't count since he saw me.
I then laugh myself silly as the dying guards stumble about and flail their swords and maces, smacking a number of civilians (one is actually knocked to the street unconscious). Loot their bodies, restock at the doctor's all my poison (a measly five shots), and begin again hunting the ranged weapon and poison kills.
Fucking hilarious.Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner

It's easy to find an archer on the rooftops to poison, but the hard part is them not falling to their death and forcing you to do it again.
Anyway, completed poisoning 15 guards and also using their own weapons to kill them (a more difficult trick, surprisingly, because they have to be regular guards, and finding a group of them means you have to kill the armored one first and then kill at least one of the others with his own weapon, but they sometimes shit their pants in pure terror of your mega-murder skills and run, forcing you to find another group).
Looking at the Uplay actions and rewards, I know I'll have enough to get enough points to download the rewards I want for Revelations, III, and Rogue. Given that I'll be getting Unity and Syndicate on a separate system (PS4 instead of 360), I'm a little hesitant that my points will carry over through my account regardless of platform, but we'll see.
...Not that it'll matter for Unity, because according to IGN the only reward that game has is a special polearm weapon, so unless that's both cheap on points and really damn good, I won't bother redeeming points for it.Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner

...Huh, oh yeah, that's right, Uplay is a thing... I completely forgot that that service existed, but then again their points and rewards system has never been a big overall factor for me playing their games, so...

It isn't a decisive factor for me either, but I like having free extras to enhance the game, especially upgrading item capacity or having alternate outfits.
Speaking of which, I should dick around in Altair's plain robes in Brotherhood. Been using Ezio's standard outfit, first in starting white and then dying it and the cape to Roman Gilded Onyx (looks fucking great like that).Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner

Ah, I always enjoy picking different colors for Ezio to run around in; it's one of my favorite features of the game. Roman Gilded Onyx is an excellent choice of color, one of my personal favorites.

Ubisoft just sent me an E-mail with little "register now!" teasers for some of their games. I made note of South Park: The Fractured but Whole, and For Honor (vikings, samurai, and knights).Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner

Hitman announced for X1 and PS4
I'm not entirely sure what to make of "leading with digital release." Obviously they mean a digital version first, and with a new console I'd have more than enough space I suppose, but I would still like the option of a hard copy.
Still, if it's anywhere near as solid as Absolution, I will be absolutely thrilled to play this.
And Gears of War 4 has formally been announced. Sweet.Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner
