This is why I never have bought and never will buy a system when it first releases. With all those people who wait on line for hours on release day to get it first I bet at least a 1/4 of them end having to return to it or send it back to the company to get repaired or get a new one.

no that's not it, both systems have even more non gaming hardware now. the issue was that both companies weren't prepared and just rushed the products, especially MS.

for me if i invest in a gaming machine thats all i want from it. sure youtube facebook netflix ect is nice to have but i have a computer for all that. its a shame really both companies wont do a specific system like that for those who dont want all those things. i mean i get its a hot trending thing now but in five ten fifteen or even twenty years from now what else are they goiing to try to push on its customers?

gamestop had the refurbished ones for like 200 with a 50 dollar exchange if it didnt work. 7 fucking times man : smh:

That tells me all I ever need to know about Gamestop's business practices. If you are selling an electronic item and it doesn't work, you should be giving a full refund, not a 1/4 store credit. If their refurbished ones were so crappy that that was the best deal they could give when they didn't work, they had no business offering them in the first place.

I purchased my original PS3 in Feb. 07. I sold it on ebay because I didn't need it anymore (no need to have a 3rd ps3 right?) and plus I never used the backwards compatibility feature. I bought my PS4 day 1 from Amazon and haven't had any issues. I have no regrets of my purchase.

i read not to long ago that walmart is now getting into the whole buy used games market. those guys are just taking over everything now. give it time and they will have there own hobo or menards section

Most people never have issues and are lucky in that regard but with most technology there are just some glitches that won't arise or aren't discovered until the general public is using en masse. I figure it's just best to wait for a while instead having to return my system or get it fixed every other month. Glad you've never had problems though.

I don't consider it crying. I consider it people freaking about about shit, before they have 100% of the facts. Which is the internet at its usual, so there wasn't anything all that unique about the situation.

Or instead of dancing around PR bullshit they could have said right at the start that this was a timed exclusive or that it would be coming to X-Box 1 first. Then none of this wouldn't happen.

That's all they had to do, but they didn't and mislead people. Considering the last one was a multiplat game, it was a big middle finger to anybody who owned a PS3 or a PS4 and didn't want an X-Box One.
