Yes there are exclusives, but the last Tomb Raider came out on all consoles and PC, which is why it seemed like nonsense.

    • with the huge boom and success of comic book films im suprised there isnt that many comic book games out. before anyone says it no i dont consider the movie tie in titles anything important because they suck period. sure they have lego batman and lego marvel super hero's but with lego being in the title you know that shit will sell very well. there should be like a adventure sandbox title for avengers and yet nothing.

Spider-Man 2 would like words with you, and Wolverine Origins was a better game than a movie.

That's not saying much. And I platinum'd Wolverine.

That's all they had to do, but they didn't and mislead people. Considering the last one was a multiplat game, it was a big middle finger to anybody who owned a PS3 or a PS4 and didn't want an X-Box One.
That announcement was made by Microsoft though, not Square Enix/Crystal Dynamics. And if people felt misled, then those people should start seriously learning not to jump to conclusions...especially without a jumping to conclusions mat...

This always happens though. Whenever a game is Timed exclusive they announce it as an exclusive the day of the conference, just to get people hyped about the product. they do it at e3, TGS, and now Gamescom. It shouldn't be a surprise.

                  Again not a new practice

I thought everyone of Beenox's Spidey games were great as well as all of the Batman: Arkham games.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

I didn't really like any of them. Shattered Dimensions was just ok to me.

But is it so wrong for Microsoft to say that it's a timed exclusive from the start? Instead letting the idea that Tomb Raider was going to an "exclusive"

Why lie, and not tell us from the start.

A little thing called Hype. It's a pretty simple strategy. Tell people it's only on one system. Wait for everyone who doesn't have said system to freak out and cry about it. Reveal that "due to high demand" we have decided to make it available to all.

It's marketing, they have to get the internet and fans talking. It's not new and has happened for years.

Nothing about that announcement gave the impression of a timed exclusive, nothing they had to clarify later. Which just boggles my mind.

Regardless I'm glad Tomb Raider is coming to PS3? and PS4.

well anything is better than that abortion xmen orgins wolverine movie.

but what im saying is now and currently id love to see a developer like sony santa monica studios ( god of war) or naughty dog jump into the super hero genre. i think naughty dog can deliver a amazing captain america title wile sony santa monica studios can deliver on a avengers title. i was going to throw bioware into the mix but i hate the idea of ea having an oppertunity at a marvel property knowing they would just charge for every bit of content. . i would love to see cd project red tackle a guardians of the galaxy game in some fashion. now rockstar who does gta would be very interesting but i cant even begin to think wich marvel property they should tackle for a game. im kind of leaning torwards maybe ghost rider or daredevil
