Nothing about that announcement gave the impression of a timed exclusive, nothing they had to clarify later. Which just boggles my mind.

Regardless I'm glad Tomb Raider is coming to PS3? and PS4.

no announcement ever does. that's what i just said. they announce games as exclusive just for hype and then a day or two later the developer usually say it's timed. it happens and has for years.

with the huge boom and success of comic book films im suprised there isnt that many comic book games out. before anyone says it no i dont consider the movie tie in titles anything important because they suck period. sure they have lego batman and lego marvel super hero's but with lego being in the title you know that shit will sell very well. there should be like a adventure sandbox title for avengers and yet nothing.

The lego games are awesome. And not all movie tie ins suck.

Spider-Man 2 would like words with you, and Wolverine Origins was a better game than a movie.

microsoft probably paid for the exclusive rights for a period of time to boost sales. just like they are doing with COD AW map packs.

It's right up there with the business practice of charging 60 bucks for a game then making people pay for all the extra DLC, costumes, characters, etc only to release a Game of the Year edition with all of the extra DLC, costumes, characters, etc already included for the same 60 bucks. Hell they even make certain DLC console exlcusive for a limited time.

I thought everyone of Beenox's Spidey games were great as well as all of the Batman: Arkham games.

well the first 2 batman arkham games were gold. i heard orgins sucked though so i didnt buy it. as far as spider man go's i think the only two i played were shattered dimensions and i forget the other one web of shadows i think

Timed exclusivity and a 3 year development cycle won't make COD a good game series, though. Through whatever crap at me you like, but I believe Call of Duty is, and always will be, a shot series.

Abviously. AMD released a list of upcoming PC games with PC Mantle support and Rise of the Tomb Raider was on it. Still sucks. PC > Xboner.
