I'll be waiting to see how much of that pass is online only (as I don't see that I'll be playing much of that); If it's all offline content then I'm already sold.
But the Brightest Day skin is appealing, if only so that I can pretend I'm playing with Moon Knight

Watched the Deathstroke trailer, and I have to say I'm a little disappointed that he's partly a Robin skin, because he shares a number of moves with the Boy Wonder. At least we get three skins of him (classic comic, Arkham Origins, and Injustice). I won't touch the classic, because I find it disgusting overall.

Just finished a session of challenge maps in anticipation of Origins, and while there were a few mistakes, I did pretty well (even topped my personal best on Custom Freight Train!).

So I just got the game about three hours ago (had to clean up and eat dinner), but I really love how it hits the ground running: you have access to a very fast, very combat-savvy Batman, with moves like the Beatdown (for armored thugs) available right away.

The upgrade system is a skill tree instead of the flat style from the last two games. It's actually pretty impressive.

The combat is perfectly fine, and I was even able to counter right after finishing off an enemy with a ground takedown, which in Asylum was unthinkable and in City was something that took a bit of practice and some luck. You're also graded on how well you do in combat (no stealth as of this moment), with Apex Predator being the best and Legendary just below that.

Not that anyone will be surprised, but EscapistMagazine.com has an article up at the moment detailing that WB Montreal had serious doubts themselves about their ability to make a great game.

They mention how fans of Rocksteady's work expressed serious dismay that anyone other than Their Precious Favorite was handling the game. The studio itself also wondered if it had bitten off more than it could chew.

Personally, I find this line of complaints and doubt from the fans to be asinine. Rocksteady adapted Batman; they did not create much of anything, and Asylum, while a great game overall, has its flaws. Even City has some very noticeable drawbacks. The idea that someone else shouldn't be given the reins or cannot do as good or better than the previous developer is an incredibly stupid notion.

Bethesda did an amazing job on Fallout, which was not originally theirs.

If all someone hears are doubts, then confidence is lost and poor quality is created. I'm glad that WB Montreal made this game.
