That's real cute and all, that link, but my link is independent from that one since it was based on Hal's movie that is currently in production and this focuses on a hypothical Kyle movie.

I can see that, hes got the right look. I was figuring they'd CGI him all to hell so I picked someone's whose voice was calm and reassuring but can demand attention too.

For Kyle I'd say Justin Long. For Hal I would say Dennis Quaid for John I would say Wood Harris.

Justin Long would have to cut his hair and do some serious weight training, but his face is just too narrow for me to invision him as Kyle. As for Quaid, I agree, he could be a good choice too, I just think Mel would own the role.
