I really liked the conclusion of the Zod arc. If for no other reason than I have always felt that a prepared veteran Green Lantern can go toe to toe, and even defeat a skilled adult Krytonian, without resorting to willing up some kryptonite or blocking the yellow sun. Just using sheer power, way to go Hal! Might have been the comic I have enjoyed the most this year. It felt like tangible proof to many a playground argument of who was the baddest man in the JLA really was.

Yeah, I liked it too and I liked the kind of diplomatic ending. Hal's approach reminded me of how Kirk beats Khan in WoK.
Only thing that bugged me was the ease with which they seemed to be able to download all the data from the ring. We've been told multiple times how impressive the computing power of Oan tech is. Even Eradicator shouldn't have had the time or storage space to download all that.

Of all the villains GL has borrowed from Superman.... Zod and Co. are probably my favorite. But why is Eradicator wearing the House of El's shield and not that of Zod's?

After his reign in 90's era Superman comics, he was the leader of the Outsiders for a minute and replaced the shield with a gold triangle cape clasp:

So yeah, I'd rather they stick the Zod shield on him. Maybe give him something similar to that old Hulkbuster mode whenever shit gets real. I also wonder how long it's going to be before Zod tries to 'liberate' the people in the Bottled City of Kandor? The original New Krypton arc shouldn't be cannon cause the concept is too awesome not to wanna try again... it was convoluted with so much other stuff going on at the same time.
An army of one hundred or so Kryptonians double dipped in yellow sun radiation could conquer the universe. It only took four to get the best of a squad of seasoned GLs until Hal showed up. And really... had the other three got involved Hal would be dead... again.
