  • Superman 676

Is out today... and it seems that it will be about the earlier days of Superman's career and will feature his first encounter with the original Emerald Hero, Alan Scott. Being a $2.99 one-shot, I figure I'll be picking this up on my trip to the comic shop later today... anyone else planning to get it? SUPERMAN #676: http://dccomics.com/comics/?cm=9307

Do good. Be well. Make happy.

I'll start to buy Supes with issue #677 (James Robinson is coming!) but this one looks interesting, so, if my LCS has an extra-copy, i could get it.
The cover by Alex Ross is great. The monster is Solomon Grundy, right?

Parry, do you like Red Arrow?

I'm not sure... will let you know later today, though.

Oh yeah thats Grundy, I love the current run, theres some stuff that weird like him rebuilding his apartment, but thats another story, don't want to ruin it for some one.

It also looks like Superman #677 will have GL in it too.

A good reason to buy the series, along with Robinson, Guedes, and Ross.

I picked it up... it was actually a really cool story, the narrative from Supes was cool, and it was just an all around spiffy little one-shot. Apparently Green Lantern (Alan Scott, duh) was Pa Kent's favortie superhero, and he used to tell little Clark stories about him... but yeah... all in all a good comic, and definately worth the $2.99 it'll cost ya.

Picked it up, haven't really thoroughly read yet. Does look like tons of Alan.

It was all set up until Alan came in, anyway.
