I'm looking forward to this, but at the same time, the dialog seems rather flat and "typical". I'm not sure how Robinson is going to fair on the regular JLA book with dialog like this, it seems like he is doing a "cookie cutter" version of the characters, not really making them anything out of the ordinary. Art is awesome though.

"Weeds. All of them weeds. I am perfection, and I am alone in the garden of the universe." - Cyborg Superman
GREEN ARROW: If it involves you, The Huntress, Lady Blackhawk and a bottle of grappa, Dinah already told me, and all I have to say is, "Well played, sir."
GREEN LANTERN: No, it's about - wait - you heard about that?
While funny, this just seems to me like more retconning of the character to be something he never was. Up until very recently, I never would have pictured Hal as the type to do this sort of thing. It just wasn't part of the character until this new series.
I actually don't like this portrayal of Hal at all. I'm not a fan of sluts, be they male or female. It makes him seem like a somewhat cheapened character. It's like "I have the Will to overcome anything, aside from my primal urge to fuck chicks." And what does it say for the "heroes" of the DCU? They should be at a higher moral standing than the common man, but when put in this light, they seem like everyone else but with some sort of gimmick. It also cheapens his relationship with Carol.
It is a reflection of the times though, no one considers sex to be anything other than a means to get off these days. Makes me sad, but so be it.

At least we can take a small measure of comfort in the fact that Hal was surprised that Ollie knew about it. So he isn't going around telling the story in bars like, say, Guy would.

He hasn't had a relationship with Carol in over 15 years. And Hal as some kind of smooth pimp with the ladies, this kind of man-about-town with them is largely a retcon. Before Geoff Hal was either always in a long term relationship, or pining for one.
We also don't know when this little act took place. It could just now be making the rumor mills. So it wouldn't really hurt his relationship with Carol.
In a lot of Silver Age Flash comics, Hal was single and an active dater.

15 years our time maybe, but not comic time. This is one retcon I'm not overly happy with, actually makes me like Hal less as a character. Like I said, I just don't have a lot of respect for loose people.

I'm gonna get these, but I hope someday DC gets over the damn gorilla crap. If I want to see talking apes, I watch Planet of the Apes! It just bugs me. How do talking apes fit in with superheroes?
2 pages into the preview and "no matter our differences...Bruce was my friend" has turned into "truth is, I didn't like Bruce". Can DC get on the same f-ing page with Hal Jordan already! 2 pages in and it feels like more FUBAR continuity!
Not too sure this comic is really worth the price I'm paying for it. Art is good, but the story seems flat and like I said earlier, very "cookie cutter".
Going to read the first one again then this one before I vote, but I think a 3 is about as high as I can rate this.
And come on...GL and GA take out a bunch of "B-Listers" without breaking a sweat? Dr. Polaris alone would be a match for Hal, and could probably destroy Ollie without much effort. According to Superman back in JLA a while ago, "Dr. Polaris could crack this place in half with a thought" (referring to the JLA base).
