So I was reading a article on Bloomberg earlier about Disney+ (see link at the bottom) and this jumped out at me. It's a quote from Kevin Feige.

I think it would be a mistake to make viewing additional content, available only on a specific paid streaming service, necessary for the enjoyment of a theatrical release. Having them tied together, to a greater extent than the TV series have been in the past, seems like a fun idea, but making them required backstory? I expect that to backfire.

I hope that doesn't mean that the whole WandaVision show is going to be set in an alternate universe. That would be horrible, and a waste.

Having only watched the majority of MCU movies once and over a scattered timeframe, I've already been a little confused on some of the continuity (not so much that I can't follow, but more like 'who is that again?'). This makes it sound like I'll be even more lost. I don't watch comic book shows even when they're free (WB) or on a service I'm already buying (Netflix).
