I really like that new coloring. And nothing against Tatjanna Wood's amazing work of the time, but I think this extravagant format demands a new coloring job, much like was done with the Sandman absolute line. Plus future reprints of Moore's Swamp Thing will benefit from this. DC has never done a clean up job on that run, but now that it will be done, future trades and hardcovers will use it which is great for fans of any format.

Sorry if this is entirely the wrong thread, but does anyone have The Watchmen Annotated edition? How about the Absolute Edition? Are they worth it, my old copy is looking very dog eared, and I am sure the new GN correct some coloring issues....

I've got the Absolute Edition and love it. I bought the annotated version recently in a comixology sale and am reading about half an issue per day. It's giving the old material a bit more re-reading value.

I'm surprised DC continues to give Francesco Mattina work given all the allegations about him ripping off other artists.
I'm rolling my eyes at this Alfred death. Character death stories have no impact when you do them continuously.
I would much rather DCeased got a proper sequel than this side story.
I really hate that the title is actually The Green Lantern Season Two.
From the outside looking in Event Leviathan seems like everything I dislike about modern event comics. Seems like nothing was wrapped up in the miniseries based off the solicit text for Leviathan Dawn and instead the story is to be continued, so there goes any chance of me checking it out in trade.
I like the addition Ram V to the JLD book, hope he takes over if Tynion is leaving. While I haven't really liked his Catwoman fill in issues his horror indie comic, These Savage Shores was great.
Venditti on Justice League feels like a rather uninspired choice. As boring as Tynion taking over Batman.
4 issue into LOSH and predictably we're seeing issues on the art. Sook did issue #1, is doing issue #2 but it's delayed, is not doing issue #3 and it splitting duties on issue #4. He's just not a monthly artist.
Seems we're nearing the end of the Ric Grayson era and hopefully the return of Dick Grayson. Please let it end.
I am praying that Robbie Thompson takes over Teen Titans. Please let his co-writing the book with Adam Glass be a prelude to that.
Sad to see both Wonder Twins and Dial H end in the same month. They are two of the best books DC has been putting out.
Very much looking forward to new Stuart Immonen art.
With Flash Forwardending DC's plan of lowering sales by putting crap talent on the book with a random ass premise in order to claim that people aren't interested in Wally West is coming to an end.
Inferior Five went from being a 12 issue mini to a 6 issue mini in a month. Who knew that creating a book in 2019 that was closely tied to Invasion! would be a flop? Who could have seen this coming?!?!

I agree on the quality of these books. But let's not forget that in an inversion of Inferior 5, both were extended from six-issue minis to 12 issues each. They were unexpected successes. Which means that there is going to be more eventu... Oh shit it's DC. There is a chance they'll never follow up on them.

...but I did read an interview with what Tynion is planning with Batman (making Gotham resemble the Burton movies a bit more), and I am willing to give it a shot. Venditti has never really excited me; his GL run was subpar at best. I can't imagine it feeling like anything but a drop in creative power after Snyder hands it over. As contrived and weird as the Doom War has been it still has me interested; it just feels like he's having a lot of fun with it (Jarro!).

Also, GL season 2...#1? Really? Why not just be straight up and say these are 2 mini series, and not ongoing titles? So in a year we will get yet ANOTHER GL #1?
