    Avengers: Endgame

15 years, 22 movies, 1 saga. We’re past the Endgame now, and there are several lingering questions: who lived? Who died? What’s the current status quo of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? What moments made you pump your fist? Did anything disappoint? These are the questions we answer, and it is indeed a full house: The Marvelous Iggy, our leader, Bry-Bry, Ol’ Man Whirlyburger Jon, and Tazer all convene to discuss the capstone film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What happens to Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America…? Listen in to find out, and then stick around for the end of the show to hear us talk about the new, full trailer for what is technically the end of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Far From Home. All other words fail us at this time, so until next time be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review! That’s our show for now, folks, so be sure to be back next time, and make it snappy!

      Episode #293: Hickman Is.

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen – you’re welcomed to another installment of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast. While Ol’ Man Whirlyburger Jon is off contending with the sky falling in Okie, Bry-Bry leads the Marvelous Iggy and Tazer in a roundtable discussion of all the news that’s happening in a post-Endgame world; they discuss Disney’s strengthening death-grip on the multimedia market and they acquire complete operational Hulu and announce several new shows for the streaming platform. In movie news, the boys discuss the developing of the Eternals, the continued delay of New Mutants, and the announced, if anonymous, slate of MCU productions for the next three years. Finally, in comic news, we’re reminded that everything dies as we discuss Jonathan Hickman’s impending cancellation of the entire line of X-Men comic books as sacrifice for his own creative vision, coming this July as House of X and Powers of X will be the only X-Men books on the shelves. Also in comics, the Warriors review some of the latest offerings from Marvel Comics – Tazer reviews Uncanny X-Men #17 where they put down a fan-favorite dog, Ben digs down further into the War of the Realms event by reviewing the absolute unit that is Giant Man #1, and Bry-Bry gets gnarly by reviewing Savage Avengers #1 and the prelude to the #1 issue featured in the Free Comic Book Day Avengers issue. Though books may be dying, our show lives – so be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review – Hickman demands your obedience and reverence. After all, Hickman is.

        Netflix's The Punisher: Season 2

Well, well… here we are. The second-to-last Marvel/Netflix product we’ll ever sample, and… yeah, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Not entirely unlike the sensation of getting knocked on the jaw by Frank Castle. That said, season 2 left something to be desired, and it’s been left to Bry-Bry, the Marvelous Iggy, and Tazer to sift through it all. Was there any good? What was the worst of the worst? What’s to be expected from the future of this property or any of the other Marvel/Netflix I.P.? These questions and more are discussed in the latest episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast. Be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review. If it seems that we’re short on words this week, let’s just say we aren’t feeling it this week… and likely won’t be feeling it next week as, by all appearances, the cinematic bomb X-Men: The Last Stand has risen from the ashes and returned to the box office under the title Dark Phoenix, and we get to review it – yippy skippy.

          Dark Phoenix

Alas, poor Phoenix, we hardly knew ye… seriously, though, will we ever get a good, faithful adaptation of the Dark Phoenix saga? Probably not, and certainly not from Fox Studios – because there is no Fox Studios anymore. There is only the House of Mouse, and their complete Marvel library. So, how does the final Fox X-Men film stack-up to its counterpart years earlier? Does it rise like a flame, or will it be snuffed out – the audience mostly took care of that last bit, but join Bry-Bry, Ben the Marvelous Iggy, and Tazer as they dissect the good and the bad from this film, one category claiming more than the other; don’t shy away, though, as we also take this opportunity to talk about the celebrate the larger X-Men franchise that Fox produced – what did we like overall, what did we dislike, what will we miss… these questions and more are answered in this special review episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast. Be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review. Join us next week when we talk about… just, anything else other than disappointing Marvel adaptations in media…

Episode #296: The Future, and All Its Glories

Welcome to a forward-thinking episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel podcast, warriors and valkyrie! After taking the Labor Day holiday off, your favorite Marvel podcast is back – because who wants to work on Labor Day? Nay, I say! This week, we three- Newsboy Bry-Bru, Tazer, and the Marvelous Iggy himself, Ben, all gather ’round to catch up on what they’ve missed since recording an episode devoted to Spider-Man: Far From Home – specifically, they first discuss the fact that Sony’s partnership with Marvel Studios has been dissolved and there will not be any further collaborations of Tom Holland’s Spidey in the MCU! Do they take it as good news, bad news what does it mean for them for the future…? Listen and find out! The Warriors also discuss the rumored casting of Kate Bishop and the alleged inclusion of Hulkling in Captain Marvel 2, and if this could be teeing-up for Young Avengers (Sup, A-Train??!); in addition, there’s also the rumored forthcoming reboot of Marvel’s Inhumans within the MCU, and we talk about the announced properties of Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight (!!!) for Disney+! Then, in reviews, Tazer ruminates on the past and what it might mean for the future with Marvel Comics #1000, Ben heralds the forthcoming of a mad god more worthy of praise than any leader we know with Absolute Carnage #1 and #2, and Bry-Bry breaks down the state of affairs with the X-Men in House of X #4! As always, be sure to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review! Yo, yo, yo, yo! Pop a 40 and check yo’ Rollies! It’s Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast time! It’s a captain-less ship without our El Capitan, the Marvelous Iggy, a.k.a. Ben, and so First-Rate Newsie Bry-Bry tries to steer the ship on course against the heckles of both Tazer, and the triumphant return of Ol’ Man Whirlyburger: Jon! Before we kickoff the news this we, Jon gets a chance to express some belated rage at the Sony/Marvel Studios/Spider-Man debacle, and we clock his reaction to the recent announcements out of D23 regarding Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk – and he doesn’t immediately suggest that Moon Knight will be cancelled! We then segue into talking about the announcement of the Marvel Comics event, INCOMING, and the rumor (we stress that it is still just a rumor at this time) of Marvel potentially casting people of color in the roles of both Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto in Marvel Studios’ reboot of the X-Men! Then, in reviews, Jon gets metal with Death’s Head #1, Tazer finds his way home to loving an oft forgotten superhero team in Alpha Flight: True North #1, and Bry-Bry catches the Warriors up on the cataclysmic developments in Powers of X #4 and House of X #5! ‘Ey! We’re walkin’ here! We’re walkin’ up to a couple of microphones to bring you another episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast! With the Marvelous Iggy away delivering spinning crane kicks into the faces of his enemies, Newsboy Bry-Bry is left to try and rein in the chaos created by Ol’ Man Whirlyburger Jon and Tazer, who do at least allow Bry-Bry to think clearly and consistently this time out… which is good, because it’s time for another whirlwind comic book convention round-up as New York Comic-Con 2019 happened over the weekend, and there is news aplenty – mostly about comic books! Fancy that! We also touch upon some TV and movie news, but it is mostly comic book talk this time out. What a refreshing change of pace! Meanwhile, in reviews, Tazer takes us to his neck of woods with a review of Ghost Rider #1 and all the goings-on of Hell! Bry-Bry then catches us up on the latest in House of X and Powers of X as we approach the end of Hickman’s set-up for th X-Men status quo moving forward!
